The Szczecin University of Technology Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems has fundamental actions in education, training and culture for Higher Education and Adult Education. The Szczecin University of Technology focuses on substantial use of ICT in education, adapted to its context and environment. Within the University, the Faculty of Computer Science has considerable experience in organizing learning process, involving various environmental conditions with consistent solutions, resulting in an adaptive tutoring framework including both participants -- the teachers and the students. ODL is one of the major scientific research domains of the Faculty of Computer Science. The Chair of Publishing and Production Process Control is in charge of monitoring the development of distance learning within the Faculty of Computer Science. The chair includes eight scientific professionals and associate cooperative professionals from Poland and Europe. The complete scientific work involves:

• development of distance learning methods using ICT in education;
• intelligent production support with blended learning;
• development of distance learning for social adaptation of the disabled.

The Faculty of Computer Science is a member of the national academic network and shareable knowledge repositorium, whose major participant is the Chair of Publishing and Production Process Control, which advances the use of distance learning with ICT. The network establishes open connections and shareable resources between Polish higher education institutes and commercial enterprises.
